As Queen of Foo I hear people say "the King is so negative" or "he never says anything good and only points out the bad". Well you are right and Kingdom of Foo will help strike that balance so many seek.

The first and most important issue that needs to be addressed is "your" attitude. People in this town are just plain grumpy! Sure we have a lot to be grumpy about. It's hot, our restaurant choices stink and there are no Macy's or make up counters to help keep us women beautiful. We do have dust, lots of dust, so much dust that dust gets in place there ought not be any dust. And you all wonder why everyone is in such a foul mood?

Here it is Friday night and what are you going to do? After a long day of work you would love to eat at an Outback or Red Lobster but who wants to drive over an hour (one way) to "unwind'? Yeah, unwind at the end of the day, driving in traffic with the kids saying "are we there yet, huff and eye roll". Then you get to the restaurant and stuff yourself like the Christmas turkey, I bet you are real comfortable in those tight pants now? Now you have look forward to the long ride home with the family moaning about wanting to get home. And you all wonder why we are all so grumpy?

So to help the Mayor and Citizens take ownership of the "Friendliest Place on Earth" we are going to challenge our citizens to live the slogan. We are going to start with some fun twisted (but sadly true) humor. Maybe this will help people laugh at themselves and think about their actions a little more carefully.
